For corporate and private events, performances start at $600, with fees incurred for the following:
- Equipment (i.e. flooring or sound)
- When the nature of the show requires an additional performer, which we sometimes deem necessary
- When the venue is more than 40 km away from our home, in which case travel fees will apply.
Pricing may be negotiable if:
- you are a community group hosting an event that supports special causes (e.g., workshops for dancers with disabilities, community-building events in low-income neighbourhoods, workshops and welcoming events for refugee children, etc.); and
- if you can help make the gig less labour-intensive, e.g., are close to where we live; can supply all the necessary tech; can accommodate shorter sets; and can provide perks, such as paid parking and meals. In such cases, a one-set show could potentially be as low as $350.
Our fees are based on Toronto Musician Association and Canadian Dance Alliance recommendations and take into consideration everything that goes into being freelance arts workers. You are welcome to send us an inquiry stating your budget, needs, and what other perks you are able to provide; but please know that it is at our discretion to accept, or to propose a negotiation of terms.
Please note, non-profit does not mean not paying artists their artists fees. We try hard to do our part to make the arts more affordable to all income brackets through our own non-profit, while still respecting the fees necessary for artists to make a living wage.
Our performances can consist of up to 2 30-minute sets that begin with soft, ambience solo guitar, then integrate flamenco singing and dancing, intermittently, with moments of percussive footwork. Events that are most suitable to our sets are those in which audiences are open to witnessing this type of show, as opposed to environments where the conversations of patrons can easily become louder than the performers, or where the audience members may find the percussive footwork intrusive.

Booking form
Please read our rates and terms sections prior to requesting a booking. If you are a community-building / non-for-profit organization and are requesting a rate lower than that of private sector / corporate clients, please describe, or direct us to your company’s vision, mission, and contributions.
Terms
For bookings, we require that a contract be signed guaranteeing the following conditions:
- Access to the venue within the 3 hours before start-time for the purposes of:
- Soundchecking the venue’s sound equipment, or
- Loading, unloading, and setting-up our own sound & floor*.
- A clean, private, and spacious change room and warm-up space.
- A non-refunable deposit of 50% of the performance fee.
- A safe performance space (i.e., a dry and levelled dance floor). The performers reserve the right to withdraw their performance, on site, if they deem the locale unsafe due to physical, environmental, or even social hazards (i.e. disruptive persons).
*If the floor at your venue is not suitable for flamenco dancing, or if your venue does not have sound equipment of a technician, we could bring in our own at an additional cost.
